How to see firmware update progress on the router

i selected firmware update via the iOS app. I then exited the app. Now there is no way for me to see the progress or how long it will take. I am afraid to pull the plug and restart. The only indicator I see on the router are the ports lights blinking. It's been at least 10 minutes.... this is frustrating.

    it shouldn't take 10 minutes. 

    Whats going on with it now that its a new day? 

    What are the led's doing? 

     

    In the future, I'd highly recommend against updating using the app or over wireless. When we see corrupt firmware issues, it tends to be when people update using those routes. I'd recommend doing it over a hardwired connection to the router.
