Do these directions seem to be correct in your opinion?

That option will work. It puts the orbi in access point mode which disables some features.

After reading that link, it looks like the access point option might not be the best. It limits what Orbi can do. Am I right?

Or I found this video that goes through IP Passthrough, turning off the BGW210 wifi, and other steps. Ah! This is so confusing. Why can't there just be 1 way?

Because att makes you use their modem/router gateway.
When you get it, try a method and see if it work for you?
