QoS is not really needed on ISP speeds 1GB or higher. I'd disable QoS, reboot the router then speed test.
I realize that, but the QOS page is where the INTERNET BANDWIDTH is either calculated, or input. If you notice, I didn't select QOS, I am working at the place where it says I want to define my internet bandwidth.
NG may have only set the QoS input value to max out at 1GB. Since the default port was for the 1Gb port. May have not applied this to the Multi Gig port.
QoS isn't required for anything past 1GB. So you'll need to use it as is or disable it. I'd leave it disabled.
Besides the QoS database is 5 years old and would be no longer updated by NG.
It actually DOES affect the 2.5 port. IF I set it to 500 down, then my devices average 470, if I set it to 1000, I get about 870, the actual speed SHOULD be 1150 mbps down, but I am limited to 1000.
Welp, if you have the CM3000 connected to the multi gig port, most likely you are getting your over 1Gb speed at this port. However since ALL other ports are limited to 1Gb max, setting QoS to anything higher would not work since all other LAN ports max out at 1Gb. So this maybe why you can't set QoS to anything over 1Gb.Only way to attempt to check this would be to have the MG port connected to the CM modem and have a 4x4 wireless device connected to the 6Ghz wifi signal then run your speed test there. If all is connected here, then you may see over 1Gb speeds on wireless. Otherwise, your limited to 1Gb on the LAN port side. NG didn't add MG LAN ports until the BE series. Same issue we saw on Orbi AX systems. MG ports but no MG LAN ports until the 960 appeared. Then BE series saw more MG LAN ports.
