I have an raxe300 connected to a cm3000

I agree with Plemans. NG hardware has been always solid. FW and SW has been a rollar coaster ride and sometimes people may need to get off the ride. 

Since I've been playing around with NG since around 2017, Seen various things and problems with NG and other Mfrs, including ASUS and D-Link which I do have a couple of there's. Always something seen across Mfrs.

Been gaming for over 20 years now. After getting into a 1Gb/50Mbps ISP Speed, have not had any gaming issues with this service while using NG products. Learned many things with gaming, NAT and networking over the years. As long as ISP speeds are good, signal is good up to the modem and home networking is configured well, hardly ever see any gaming issues with NG routers. Though I leave most of the additional features disabled as I don't need them mostly unless I need to test something out. I'm the only gamer in my household so not much call for QoS, Gaming QOS or stuff that others have a need for. Gaming for me has been good with NG stuff. 

The RAXE series is was it is and may have not been designed well or to have high speed seamless support across WAN and LAN ports. NG may have been tipping toes in the water to test new design flows and such as ETH speed for the home consumer finally went past 1GB. So for the RAXE series, the internet port and MG port is specific and handling is limited to the 1GB spec for the 1GB ports which will never go past this speed. Once NG finally came out with both WAN and LAN ports that all sported 2.5 or higher, it's been good for that design now. I've been able to fully support 10Gb down to the end points in my house now from the router point on the LAN side. I still have the 1Gb ISP service and honestly don't see needing anything past that. Just works well. 

Will be putting my RAXE500 online maybe this weekend and a Orbi 770 series system online to test that configuration out. Hoping for good things.
