Intermittent issues with second 5Ghz band
Hi,
I've been experiencing intermittent issues with my RAX-70 second 5Ghz band. It seems the first 5Ghz band is more stable, however it's not as powerful as the second one. I was wondering if there is anything that I could do to fix the second 5Ghz band? I did restart the router several times. Sometimes it goes better after a restart, but then the issues come back.
For information, this router is only 2 years old.
Thanks!

What channels do you have set for it?
You might set the 2nd channel speed down from "up to 4800mbps" to "up to 2400mbps".
In areas that have dfs channels (needed for 160hz wide channels), that can cause drops/instability. (its not supposed to but reality is different).
- benotdesAspirantHi,
Thanks for the information!
I actually tried the channels 149, 153, 157 and 161 and I have the same issue with all four of them on the second 5 Ghz band.
I also setup the maximum bandwidth as you recommended.
Thanks again!so you set it down to "up to 2400mbps"?
Just checking.
Is it more stable?
