Hey, it’s not a very large house, it’s a three story townhouse, the exact numbers I can’t remember. It used to work though. The internet is only alright near the stairs leading to floor 1 and ground floor, as replied above I’m not sure why but it only shows the normal internet (no 5g) for certain devices. I’ve done the speed test on the app, and download is 523, upload is 54.

Is this about the level of service you are paying for?

Are you sure those devices support 5 ghz?

When did you purchase the router? It is possible that the radio is starting to fail (hopefully not the case).
Another possibility is that a neighbor has installed something that is interfering with your wifi.
There are some free wifi analyzers out there (particularly for Android, but also some for Windows). Unfortunately, none I know of for iOS. Can you download one, and let us know what it shows?

Yes, I’m paying for 500/50 and the devices support 5g. I purchased the router March this year, I’ll have a look at wifi analyzers, I have an android (samsung), would you have any recommendations?

So it is still covered by the warranty. You should make sure it is registered, and you could then try contacting support via my.netgear.com. One option is to start a warranty exchange, Netgear will likely then guide you through some troubleshooting.

I am currently using iOS, and it's been about 5 years since I had an Android phone. So I don't have any recent personal experience. plemans , CrimpOn , or FURRYe38 might. There is a Netgear analytics app, but it is very old - so there could be better options.
