Is My RAX50 v1 or v2 — How Do We Tell
I bought an RAX50 from a reseller on eBay 10 days ago. How do I tell if it’s an RAX50v1 or v2?

When you log in to the user interface, it should show the model number near the Netgear logo.

Kitsap is correct.
The only thing I'll add is make sure to factory reset it with any 3rd party purchase 🙂
- Thanks. I did roll it back to factory and updated to Firmware V1.0.12.120. Working great on 10 devices. Will add more overtime.

The so called "factory reset" simply removes any settings that you may have made to the device. So the router is put back to the settings when it left the factory, but with the most recent firmware that was installed on it.
