Hard wired as in Ethernet or USB?
My router is up to date and network discovery is enabled within Windows 10.
The only way to confirm that is to tell people the number of the firmware. Far too many people arrive here claiming that when in reality they can be years behind the latest. That's because the router's on-line firmware checks can be wrong.
