LED lights too Bright (RAX20)

I have followed instructions below to turn off the white LED's on the front panel of my router but leave on the power LED only. When I choose this option all the lights are off. I am wondering is this is a bug in the software.

From the manual:

Turn off the router LEDs

The LEDs on the front panel of the router indicate activities and behavior. You can turn off all LEDs except the Power LED. I have followed the instructions below

To turn off the LEDs:

  1. Launchawebbrowserfromacomputerormobiledevicethatisconnectedtothe router network.

  2. Enterhttp://www.routerlogin.net. A login window opens.

  3. Entertherouteradminusernameandpassword.

The user name is admin. The password is the one that you specified the first time that you logged in. The user name and password are case-sensitive.

    The BASIC Home page displays.

  4. SelectADVANCED>AdvancedSetup>LEDControlSettings. The LED Control Settings page displays.

  5. To turn off allLEDs exceptthe Power LED,select theTurn off all LEDs except Power LED radio button.

  6. ClicktheApplybutton. Your settings are saved.

    Hi ndancer,

Welcome to the community! Would you mind telling us what firmware version your router i on. Have you tried reverting to a previous firmware version to see if this behavior persists?

    Thanks,

    Christian

      Guide

      Hi Christian,

I spent a lot of time on the phone with support and no solution was offered I returned the router and purchased an RAX40 Nighthawk which has the lights on the top are very small and green in color, so no problem now.

      Thanks,

      Joel
