Looking for a mini UPS to mitigate power brown-outs
I am running a lot of home automation. My router is mounted high on a wall and plugged into 110V outlet with the supplied cord. Momentary brown-outs take down all the voice interface devices, sometimes requiring multiple router restarts to recover,
I am looking for a compatible mini-UPS that I can mount on the wall nearby. I see some that have 12V / 2A outputs. Is it reasonably safe to use of of these? Or am I better off mounting a small convention UPS with 110V outlets? - TIA

- microchip8MasterThis has to do with NG routers how exactly?
Why not just pickup a backup UPS?
they're fairly cheap and could run the modem/gateway and router without issues.
Probably a lot cheaper than trying to get one to output 12v
