I hope it helps others. I tossed my Netgear router and purchased a Linksys Dual-Band WiFi 6 Router model AX1800 three days ago. Works perfect! No drops and is super fast. I highly recommend it and suggest anyone to toss their Netgear products.

yeah it's been a frustrating time with this router to say the least. I know some of us were lucky enough to get through to support by constant follow ups, pestering forum mods, going onto social media and so forth.. so just keep at it. I was able to get through to escalation @ L2 support by sending a PM to Christian_R who helped me get in contact with them.
The current beta is stable, so there is no reason why they would hold out any longer to release a public version.
