Low LAN and 5GHz WIFI speeds from RAXE500 Router?
Hello! I have a CM2000 modem that is supplying 1400+mps to a RAXE500 router. However, my wired LAN connection from the router to my 3 year old HP laptop tops out at 400-500mps? And my iPhone 12 ...
Huh. So the wan interface is pulling full speed (since the built in is giving you full speed) but not the wan-->lan interface.
Something to try is run a couple speedtests at once on separate devices at the same time. Then aggregate the speeds and see if it'll actually give you full 1.4gig with a couple devices.
sure seems like something in the wan-lan is having issues. I'd open a support case if you're still within that period.
Yeah, my support ticket via chat/email shows expired, but support by phone shows good until October 2023? So not sure but gonna try by phone and have them remote in if it doesn't cost?
