MK62 compatibility issue with Harmony Hub

Has anyone had issues with not being able to connect their Harmony Hub to the Nighthawk mesh wifi 6 system MK62? Lodgitech says its because they are only 2.4 ghz compatable. I have turned off the 5 ghz on both satilites and it didn't work. I spent hours with Netgears tech support with no solution. Is this a software issue? Has someone found a work around? Is there another product that does the same thing as the Harmony Hub that will work with this new router? This is the only way I know of to control your home theater with a Google Home. In case anyone is wondering everything has been updated and is in the same locations as my old setup.
