MK63 low download speed

I have a 600Mbps connection through Xfinity Modem + WiFi combo, I connect the MK62 into the modem which gives me two wireless routers, Xfinity and MK63

Using my laptop and Cloudware's speedtest, I consistently measure a top download speed of the MK63 at 109Mbps.

after switching over to Xfinity wifi router, I measure 450Mbps

unaccepatble , please let me know if there is a setting (QoS) that needs toggling, otherwise I am sending this back

No, you connected the MK62 into the first _router_, which gave you
two wireless routers, which, I'd guess, was your first mistake.

Why did you get the MK62/MK63?  Did you not like the routing of the
(unspecified) "Xfinity Modem + WiFi combo", or did you want more
    wireless coverage, or what, exactly?

Which was connected to what, how?  Ethernet?  Wireless?

If all you wanted was better wireless coverage, then you might want
to configure your second router as a wireless access point, rather than
    as a second full-function router.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read . Look for
    "access point".

First of all, thank you for the reply!

My Xfinity modem/wireless router didn't give me enough coverage in my house (5k sq. ft) , so I was wanted to buy a mesh network to boost my coverage acorss my house.  MK63 received good reviews for performance speed, so I chose that over Nest.

I didn't realize it was a wireless router + 2 extenders, thought all 3 were extenders.

So, I plugged the MK63 in the Xfinity Modem/Wifi combo unit via Ethernet cable, giving me two access points

I used my laptop to toggle between the two WiFi access points and measure downlaod speed...Xfinity and Netgear

I was thinking to use the MK63 as an access point instead of router, I do hope this helps

already found the link to do this
