Multi gig access RAX70
Not sure if this has been touched on, but I have Xfinity, with 1.2Gb plan. I'm avging 400-650mb download, RAX70 router with V1.0.13.128 firmware, CM2000 modem, TP-Link TL-SG105-M2 5port multi gig sw...
It won't work with your current setup. reasons why
1. The RAX70 uses port aggregation to hit multigig speeds.
2. the CM2000 doesn't have port aggregation. It only has one 2.5 gig port
3. the switch you have is a simple switch so it can't go cm2000--->switch---->router. Some fancier managed switches have dhcp built in with port aggregation. Yours doesn't. So you have to go modem---->router---->switch/devices
But even with that said, you should still be able to hit 940mbps (ish) using that router/modem combination. The 450-600 that you're getting, is that wired or wireless? Have you tested your wired speeds directly from the modem?
It's a wired setup.
