Multi-Gig Port (Port 5) only detecting at 1gb speed?
I have a RAXE500 where I enabled the the multi-gig port as the Internet uplink but for some odd reason it's only detecting the port at 1GB. When I plug a 2.5GB device into that same cable, it works ...

What device are you plugging into the multi gig port?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

Netgear M4250-12M2XF (MSM4214X)
I've got cat 6 cable, and when I've plugged other device into that port (eero 6e pro and Asus ZenWiFi Pro ET12), it correctly negotiates as 2.5GB.
Just to confirm, I should leave "Ethernet Port Aggregation" to Disabled right?

If other devices connect correct to the multi gig port and the M4250 does not, seems to point to the switch rather then the router. The RAXE auto detects the speeds based on correct cabling connection and supported connection rate speeds of the connecting devices. There is no setting to set the multigig port.
Yes.
What do you have connected to the Yellow Internet Port on the RAXE router?

I don't have anything connected to the Yellow Port on the router. I've got my RAXE500 setup in access mode so all my devices will get their IP addresses from my firewall (which has the 2.5GB ports), hence why I'm not using the Yellow Port.

One more question when I go into the Nighthawk app on my phone, under Settings, Router Settings, Internet Port, for "Type" is says Down, what does that mean? Is there a doc that details what the Types could be? Can't find any other setting in the mobile app or web configuration page that could be related to trying to get it to negotiate at 2.5GB
