RAX is here:
Nighthawk Routers with WiFi 6 (AX) - NETGEAR Communities
Armor is here:
NETGEAR Armor - NETGEAR Communities
It might help if you gave a bit more detail of what happened. Your first message is hard to follow.
What do you mean by:
I suddenlk y have al kinds of coinnections to my network. Most are offline but is is strange.
Where do you see these connections?
Did you restart the network in the right order?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
What firmware version do you have on the device?
A number is more useful than "the latest". There may be newer versions, or "hot fixes", that do not show up if you check for new firmware in the browser interface.
If there is one it might also help if you told people the make and model number of the modem/gateway/ONT that sits between this router and the Internet. Is it, by any chance, also a router, with a set of LAN ports on the back?
I ask because a lot of people turn up here trying to put a router behind a modem that is also a router. That can complicate troubleshooting.- jotalanAug 27, 2023AspirantHi , I wil give some more info. I have my set-up already for a year. It is a RAX10 and X6S extender. They are behind a cable.modem with router but this has not been a problem untill now. This all works fine. Only that on Friday evening I was suddenly get messages from the log that all kind of for me unknown users were connected to my network. Most were offline. That was the screenshot I attached.
Al is working fine but the messages that unknowns people were connected to my network worries me.
So I was wondering if anybody else has had a similar experience. You get the felling you are hacked although the Netgear Armor says all is safe.
