Was a factory reset and setup from scratch performed after loading FW?
Also be sure to not enable Armor, Access Controls, Smart Parental Controls or Traffic Meter.
Also try Enabling or Disabling of Internet Ping Response and DoS Protection.
A power OFF of the ISP Modem and Router for 1 minute is something to try.
Most cable ISPs use MTU 1500. Anything less could cause problems. DSL use values less than 1500.
Be sure LAN cables are of good quality between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
For 1Gb ISP services, QoS isn't recommended.
Always speed test with a wired connection.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.
