netgear 68 RAX45 not giving out reserved ip address
after assigning ip address to reserved, the ip address stayes the same from my dhcp pool and does not change even after rebooting the device.Have at least 3 devices that keep the address from the poo...
Do the client devices maintain the same MAC address each time they reconnect?
Also, when you added the address reservations, did you apply the changes and then ensured that the client devices disconnected and reconnected to the AP? Some devices will attempt to use the same DHCP provided info, ignoring further DHCP changes provided by the router until they are forced to reconnect and acquire new DHCP info.
yes on a raspberry pi also reinstalled the os still got an address from the pool mac adderss same as reserved address.
