Netgear AX12

Is the Nighthawk AX12 - compatable with the ATT Fiber One service - ATT provides a wifi router as part of the cable modem.

We would suggest setting the ATT modem to modem only mode if that is possible.

AT&T only has IP Passthrough functionality. It passes the public IP through to the router, but NAT isn't truely bypassed. It's better than nothing, but I'm glad to finally get away from AT&T for this very reason.

Just for my curiosity - this is the same we have with Swisscom. Here it's required because they handle fixed line telephony by VoIP on their CPE, and deal with IGMP multicast for live IPTV - and this is sharing of course the same public IP addresses on the CPE WAN/Internet side. Similar with AT&T?
