Netgear AX5300 Ethernet Ports capped at 100 Mbps
Hi all, Yesterday we purchased a new Netgear router (AX5300) and all 4 ethernet ports are capped at 100mbps, which is far slower than my wifi speeds of 350mbps a second. All cables have been test...

Sorry I was going by the Best Buy listing,
The model is RAX49S-100NAS, firmware is V1.1.3.18_2.1.14.
I am unsure about the modem, it's in an odd place so it's hard to get to. I'm not sure if that's the issue, as I'm getting almost 400mbs through wifi, but ethernet is capped at 100mbps. I do know that it doesn't have any LAN ports, only 2 connections for a phone line. It's a modem supplied through Charter Spectrum.

Unfortunately, wifi speeds are hard to interpret.
What tells you that thee LAN ports are delivering 100 Mbps?
What colour do they show?

They are all white. My computer says that it only gets 100mbps from the ethernet, and speed tests cap out at around 98. (Running speed tests when I am connected to wifi caps at about 360mbps.
Link speed (Receive/Transmit): 100/100 (Mbps)
Link-local IPv6 address: xxxxxxxx
IPv4 address: xxxxxxxxxxx
IPv4 DNS servers: xxxxxxxx
Manufacturer: Realtek
Description: Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller
Driver version: 1168.8.515.2022
Physical address (MAC): xxxxxxxxxxxxI have gone into my settings and made sure everything was set to the proper things, but other devices plugged into ethernet all cap at 100mbps

White means that the LAN connections are at 1000 Mbps. If the ports were the issue, they would be orange/amber.
Where does your computer say it gets only 100 Mbps?
I don't think we can get much further without knowing what the modem is.
One way to test the modem's link speed is to take the router out of the picture and connect a PC directly to the modem.
It isn't that long ago that modems came with 100 Mbps Ethernet because it was fast enough for the Internet speeds of the day.
Another factor is the sudden appearance of the new router on your network. When that happens, it is sometimes useful to reset the modem so that it forgets any settings held over from the previous router.
What did you have before the RAX49S?
That Link speed is strange.
As this is a new purchase you should have 90 days of free support from Netgear.
They will also want to know what the modem is. So try to check that before you do start any direct approach.
