Netgear RAX30 router doesn't load some websites

I live in a condo that has a random service provider (Opticaltel) When checking my internet they mentioned that other customers that had the netgear router similar to mine RAX30, had to take theirs back because they couldn't get into basic websites. I didn't notice any issues at first. However, when I went to Yahoo today, the page never loaded just an endless wheel. I have updated my firmware. What other things should I be doing?

    How does that deliver the Internet to you?

     

    Campus services are often not like the average cable or optical connection through a  modem or optical network termination (ONT). If they deliver the Internet from a router, you are piling router on router, a recipe for chaos.
