Netgear RAX80 UPNP still not functioning correctly (V1.0.10.140)
Hello Team Netgear, I have upgraded my Router to the latest firmware as of the time of writing this, and the problem of UPnP still persists. Here ismy configuration: OS: Windows 11 Pro PC: Asus...

Manufacturer is Huawei as far as I know, ISP is Etisalat. However, I don't think it's the modem, cause I have the Netgear R7800 and that worked without any issues connected to the same modem.
The UPnP was working on Netgear R7800, but as I replaced the router to RAX80 the UPnP failed to work.
I believe the firmware is at fault here, cause using another router gets me what I want.
I have another router in the room, Asus AC86U whose IP is set on DMZ on the Netgear RAX80 router and the app shows up in green, which means Asus is also forwarding the ports correctly through UPnP.

The brand of your modem and the ISP tell us nothing useful about the device itself.
Sadly, just because it once worked does not mean that the modem is not involved.
Here's why. When you set up a new router, it can detect the modem/router in front of it and set itself up accordingly.
Unfortunately, it you go through the process again, it may not work and the R7800 gets lost..
If you really want informed help, then it might be a good idea to answer the question from FURRYe38 . It shouldn't be too difficult t look at the thing and read off the model number.
This may prove to be irrelevant, but there's no harm in satisfying our curiosity.

Unfortunately, the modem is wall mounted and I cannot check the model, this will require me to unmount the modem.
As I previously stated, I have a 2nd router (Asus AC86U) in the Room which is connected to the RAX80 router, and I've added the 2nd router's IP address in the DMZ on the Netgear RAX80.
I see the green status when my Laptop is connected to the 2nd router which means the port forwarding through UPnP works on that ASUS AC86U.
It's the RAX80 which is not letting me do it. But also, let me try to connect the 2nd router directly to the modem and check. I'll post back the results.

Ok connected the other router to the modem, and it works like a charm. Green status, which means the Netgear RAX80 is buggy.

So what should the RAX80 UPnP do if you have hard coded the other router WAN port? Please use configurations which make logical sense. Use the unknown modem (praying it's a modem not yet another router), and just the RAX80 for doing UPnP without any other crazy DMZ config - the way UPnP is intended to be used. Of course, the UPnP does behave different with such experimental configurations...

Does it have a row of LAN ports on the back?
Does it have wifi antennae?
Back to your original problem, your subject says "UPNP still not functioning correctly".
What is that you are actually trying to do on this router?
Why are you worrying about UPnP?
It exists to enable various features and functions. Which are you trying to set up?
Or is this bit in your first message the problem?
Problem: Port Forwarding doesn't work even with the latest firmware (1.0.10.140)
It can help to forget about your interpretation of an issue and to tell people what you are trying to achieve. You never know, it may be possible to do that without getting lost in irrelevant details.
