NetGear WiFi Range Extender AC1200 Model EX6120
We purchased a NetGear Nighthawk X6 in 2019 and purchased a support package which expired 4/2/20. After the expiration date my problems started. Was this a coincidence or planned to get me to signup ...

By nighthawk x6 do you mean the R8000?
And you've connected the EX6120 to it?
What fimrware is on both?
And what modem/gateway are they connected to?
What issue are you having? the community forum can be quite helpful but we need info to go off. Be specific with your details as we're not there to see whats going on, what you've tried doing to fix it.

The Model # is EX6120. Our internet provider is Fidelity Communication. Their phone/modem works decently well and never requires resetting. We were trying to use the NetGear Night Hawk because it was new and we paid several $100 for it. The range extender (AC 1200) is not the issue, it is the router constantly needing to be reset. The resetting isuues began after my support contract expired. Thus, my thoughts about contract not being renewed being connected to my recent problem.

This is key. We were trying to use the NetGear Night Hawk because it was new and we paid several $100 for it. The range extender (AC 1200) is not the issue, it is the router constantly needing to be reset. -----why is it needing to be reset? Details about the full issue helps more than being vague and just saying it needs to be reset. The resetting isuues began after my support contract expired. Thus, my thoughts about contract not being renewed being connected to my recent problem.
So:

So, one more time, my NetGear Night Hawk Router worked the way it was engineered/designed until the support contract we purchased expired (April 4, 2020). This is my first time ever purchasing a technical support contract. It appears my purchase may have been a mistake and possibly made me an unwilling marketing target.

actual issue you're having with details: I am not a router expert and only assumed when we bought the NeGear Night Hawk, we were buying a reliable high quality product.- plemansJun 24, 2020Guru - Experienced User

We're not paid. And we can't work off vague descriptions or no descriptions. i'm not going to fight to get details about whats going on to help you. Good luck.
