new netgear wireless router...
I just got this new router and cannot get the 5ghz channels to work.. i have used the app on my phone and am looking to figure out why or how to get them working so i can get the optimum useage out of my router any help would be great

Are you using smart connect?
Smart connect combines the ssids all into one and then bandsteers devices between the bands as needed. It makes it appear as if there's only 1 ssid.
