New RAX80 firmware 1.0.3.88 and DHCP issues

Hi,

My RAX80 auto updated several days ago and I've noticed a strange issue with DHCP now.

I run a home lab and operate my own DHCP server so I have this service disabled on the RAX80. I noticed with the new firmware that clients are having a hard time getting an address from my DHCP server. It appears the broadcast packets aren't even making it to the RAX80 router now, but only sometimes they will if I keep trying and trying.

I noticed in the release notes that they adjusted some DHCP things so now I'm wondering if whatever the devs did have mucked up DHCP broadcast packets from being sent through the router/switch.

Devs - Please look at this issue. You should be able to easily replicate the environment with a simple DHCP server connected to the RAX80.

  • I've been having all kinds of issues since the latest firmware update. I actually rolled back to the previous version today.

I can confirm that rolling back to the previous version fixed the issue immediately.
