Nighthawk AX8 2.4GHz Speed/ Distance problem?

Hello

Hoping you guys can help me out ..

Just purchased my Router and was super excited since ive been using the Spectrum rental which has been giving less than adiquate speeds..

Im currently on 200 Mbps.

The Router is Awesome when it comes to the 5GHz band.. I can go all the way to my Bedroom (50ft-60ft) and its giving me 234Mbps down and 10Mbps up. WOW! Amazing!!!

Its when I switch to the 2.4 that it takes a HUGE dive! Im doing speeds of 3-5Mbps down and .90 to 1Mbps up in the bedroom....

Horrible! Ive have tried everything and have even uploaded the current 

I was running FirwareV1.0.2.70 when i first turned on and it was doing a little better, but not much difference! Now its just rediculous! kinda bummed out!.. 

I mean even in front of the router 3-5ft im getting 30-45Mbps Tops!? Is this normal???

What Gives??
