Nighthawk ax8 reboot loop after firmware update
I updated firmware yesterday, after that the router went into a reboot loop. After power on, orange power led is lit (it does not blink) for about 40-50sec, then also white wifi led lights up and after 10-15sec the router reboots. I have tried the numerous solutions suggested on the forum:
- Connecting to the router through browser or app doesn't work.
- Trying to reset router with reset button doesn't do anything (holding 7sec, 10sec, 30sec etc).
- 30-30-30 reset does not work
- none of the other suggested combinations of holding reset button and power off/power on don't work either
- Uploading new firmware through tftp does not work since router doesn't stay on long enough for transfer to finish
Nothing seems to work.
There doesn't seem to be any support number that I can call either since my 90 day support is over.
This is quite dissapointing for a router that cost me nearly 400eur :(.
Can netgear support please explain how to fix this issue?
