If you recently bought it, I'd exchange it for a new one.
If only the power light comes on, it sounds like a corrupt firmware/boot process.
Its potentially fixable but sometimes faster/easier to exchange it.
If you want to try fixing it, here's the guides.
You can try recovering it with tftp or nmrpflash.

just make sure you enable tftp
