Nighthawk axe7300 slow upload

I have a raxe290 that I have connected directly to a fiber ONT box. When I do speed test directly from the router via the nighthawk app I get 900mbps down and up. However when I run Speedtest from the 5g wifi connection I will get 800mbps down and roughly 75mbps up. I have checked my firmware and it is up to date, I also have rebooted the router with no change. Is there something I am missing to why the upload speeds are so bad?

    Hardwired is goign to give you the best speeds. 
    Wireless has overhead and other things that can interfere with it. 

    What device are your testing with? 

    How far from the router are you? 

    What is the link speed between router-device? (link speed is not the same as actual throughput. it gives us a details on the connection between the 2 devices)
