Try a PC using ethernet cable attached to one of the 4 LAN ports. Although, if that works, it just confirms wireless has a problem.
At any rate, best to just return it and exchange it for another for the least hassle.
My 1st RAX50 was similar, I did return it for a refund (BB) and just bought another RAX50 a month later (at an even better sale price), just to be sure it came from a different batch. it's been up non-stop with heavy usage from a wide range of various devices for 3 or more months now.

Jan 09, 2021So, it just went down again. I could not connect to anything. Part of it could be I still really don't understand your last instructions. I typed in the IP address for both the Gateway and for the router it will not connect to anyting.
I am not sure if Netgear people check Community messages. But, this is piss poor. The router is still under warranty but they want me to pay for support. This tells me they don't really back up their products. At this point I have spent hours on this problem. I will not spend any more I will return it get my money back and buy a different router from a different company
