Yes I have he RAX40 connected to a Netgear modem
I do not know about a firmware.
All I did was attempt to change a password and we have been down since last friday??

Try a simple factory reset and reinstall?
push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while the router is powered on.
then reinstall it

This is could be an Operating System networking issue.
1. What spcific password did you change. For example: Router Admin password, Wifi password, etc.)?
2. What operating system(s) / devices are you using that are now with limited access since the password change?
