Nighthawk RAX50 changed its SSID on its own
I have a Nighthawk RAX50 with the latest firmware ( V1.0.16.132_2.0.92) operating in router mode with DHCP on. I also have two range extenders named XXXNET_EXT2G and XXXNET-PRO among various other devices. Spontaneously overnight, the Nighthawk changed its SSID from the main XXXNET to XXXNET_EXT2G and everything connected to it wirelessly was disconnected. The exception being anything connected to the extender XXXNET_EXT2G or anything with dynamic wireless connections (i.e., cell phones).
Has anyone ever experienced something like this? I don't know if it was an attack of some kind or just a software glitch.
