Recently purchased a Netgear RAX50v2 and it's current firmware is V1.1.3.18_2.1.14. All of the lights are good to go except the 5GHZ one which is not turning on. According to the NetGear app, the 5GHZ band is turned on, but the signal is not being pushed out, hence the light being off. Any information, tips and tricks to get this resolved would be great. 2.4GHZ is running just fine. Thank you!
Steps taken:
- Factory reset the router- Changed 5GHZ band through admin settings via PC
- The classic turn off the band and turn it on again.

Attempting to configure or troubleshoot a Netgear router with a mobile application is a can of worms and many users end up with a situation similar to yours.
Use a real computer, either Windows or Mac. and connect to the router. Preferably with an Ethernet cable, but Wi-Fi will work some of the time. Log in to the user interface. Go to the Advanced tab, Advanced Settings, Wireless Settings page. Make sure there are check marks beside the enable wireless radio options for both your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.
