The router is a Netgear RAX50-100EUS .
What should be achieved is that a device (without wireless adapter) on the local "bridged" wired network (LAN port of the router) can connect to the enterprise wireless network as if it had a wireless adapter. No modem is involved in the setup.
The experiment with the mobile phone created wireless network shows that the router can in principle achieve this.
I believe the issue here may be security or other policies implemented by the enterprise wireless network that prevent a connection. Since I cannot connect to the router once it is in bridged mode it is difficult to tell what is wrong.
Thanks

Can you tell us more about these two networks?
A domestic router won't connect two different networks with different WAN addresses.
