Nighthawk RAX75, I have 1GB download speed at router but devices don't get more than ~125MB on 5Ghz
I have the Costco version of Nighthawk RAX75, I recently upgraded my download spead from Comcast to 1GB, which I can validate I receive when testing speed from the nighthawk app, however when I validate the downdload speed from my prioirity devices (Mac, phone, tablet), all connected at 5GHz, I usually get around 125Mbps.
Is there any configuration element that I am missing?
Thank you!

Potentially.
I've found that occassionally the built in speed test reports full speed when an actual wired test doesn't.
If you test with a hardwired in device, what speeds do you get?
Another question is what device are you testing with?
Have you tried changing wifi channels? mabye you're one with with interference.
another though is the RAX devices are fairly new. The firmware updates have been pretty extensive since it was manufactured. If you updated the firmware on it and haven't ever done a factory reset, it can help performance.
What firmware are you on?
What modem are you using?
What do you have set for your 5ghz speeds in the menu?

Thank you. I've provided answers and feedback below. I'm still puzzled why faster speeds are not out of the box. Any help is welcome.

Interesting, I would've expect that speed to be transparent and without variance. Unfortunately I don't have any wired enabled devices, we have both PC and Macs, IOS and Android devices connecting all at 5Ghz. There isn't any radio interereference in that range and we live in semi-rural area without much expected radio intererference. The funny part is that I get the same max speed on any device (~125Mbps), which is why I'm thinking configuration rather than any other challenge.

- Mac (2017), IOS (iphone 11pro), PC Surface Pro 2018, Android Galaxy and STab 9

Yes, no change. I even cleaned the active connections in that channel still same speed.

So we need to figure out if its truly a wireless issue or if something is wrong with the hardwired connection.
i understand you don't have anything you can hardwire in. Potentially can you borrow a laptop with a gigabit connection or they do make usb 3.0 --ethernet adapters?
One question. Are you using wan link aggregation with your CM1100? If so, try disabling this and just running a single gigabit connection.
Disable it on the cm1100 and the RAX75. Reset both devices and then see how your speeds do.
If you just bought this, I'd also open a support case with netgear. I've seen a couple RAX devices on here that are having issues when people have full gigabit connections with slowed speeds. You can do this by going to the top and clicking "mynetgear". register an account and then your device. From there you can contact support. Reason I recommend doing so is that support is free for 90 days and then more people that let support know about this issue, the more resources they'll (hopefully) devote to correcting the issue.
- Louiscalderon1AspirantI have the RAX75 and I am having the SAME issues. I have a 1gb internet connection and it’s testing on the device Speedtest 975mb and 760mb upload. Max speedtest is 130mb on a 5gb connection. Then when I merge the 5 GHz and 2.4GHz Channels with smartconnect I seem to have issues with internet not connecting consistently on my phone apps. So I separated the channels, but on 5Ghz I’m still not able to download more than 130mb. With 2.4GHz it’s under 60mb and I’m 5’ from the wifi router
