Nighthawk RAX80 - CONSTANTLY Dropping connection

 I'm having an issue with this router, been almost a year (Warranty up  next month) of using it,   and lately I can't go a day with out getting at least   5 or 6 internet drops throughout the day.

 

Only thing I can help address the issue is when I look at the logs I see a ton of  DoS attack: ACK Scan prior to the disconnection.

 

I tried installing the Netgear Armor but it's pretty much useless.

 

Can anyone provide any help aside from just going to buy another Non-Netgear router?

    Hello Deftpwnz,

     

    I would recommend checking to see if your router is due for a firmware update and performing a factory reset.

  • Read the other posts on the forum concerning the RAX80 & lost Wifi/LAN/Internet connection.

    It is a common problem without a solution.

    You proposal is the best, take it back & buy something else.
