Nighthawk RAXE500 2.4ghz band speed

Is it normal to only get about 150Mb/s on the 2.4ghz band? For comparison I get like 800MB/s on the 5ghz band. Quite a difference! Not sure why/how there would be such a huge gap.

Yes, as FURRYe38 says.

 

@duckware knows their stuff and can bust a few myths and cut through marketing hype.

 

Have you tried these wifi clients somewhere else and seen much faster speeds?
