Nighthawk RAXE500
Please does the Nighthawk RAXE500 work in 220-240V or can it work with a 220-240V power supply?

The question is? Something seems to have gone wrong on the writing of that one. Should there be a 120V in there somewhere?
Netgear's devices come with adapters for the local mains supply.
There is no "RAXE500" so I can't say what volts and amps your box expects to see. It will be something like 12V/2.5A DC output.
The input voltage for the adapter depends on where you are. In the USA Netgear's things may say 120V on the side. In reality, these may be 120/240 V devices that switch depend on what you plug them into. I have used those US labelled 120V things on 240V without blowing them up.
In most countries the adapters come with dual-voltage labels. Maybe they are scared of what lawyers will say in the USA.
the power supply for my RAXE500 shows "input: 100-240v"

Is that a US model?
If so, looks like Netgear is finally catching up with the rest of the world for its North Americas products.
Everywhere else has had 100-240v adapters for years. Only the USA got adapters.with a 100-120V label
Even then, those adapters were mislabelled. They were actually 100-240v adapters. (I received several North American 120V models that happily worked on 240V without going bang.)
Yep, a NA model. Maybe it just took time for regulatory approval?
