nighthawk router rax54v2 slow wifi
I am paying for 1gbps, I am getting full speeds when plugged in directly to the router with an Ethernet. On WiFi I am barely getting 200mbps on the 5g and 50-80mbps on the 2.5g even when right next to the router on a newer gaming laptop. Sometimes the upload speed can reach 700mbps on the 5g, but obviously download is what I’m worried about.
Qos is off, WMM is enabled. What else can I try?!

What device are you testing with over wifi?
You can have the fastest router in the world, but if you're device doesn't support it.....
What website/app are you using for testing speeds?
Have you tested multiple speedtest sites and devices?
