No wifi range wifi 6
I have wifi but it is not stable. I have NO access to the modem because our company went to fiber and locked the modem in a box {no customer has access to the modems now as they say it is proprietary...

Finally I can reply to let yall know where I am. Got the tech to come here, tested everything, all was fine, I upped my net speeds, still no help at all. Last thing at this point is assume maybe my MSI is too old {3} and see about getting it replaced soon. Thank you guys for the help. Sorry I don't have better news.

What NG router model are you referring too?
Fiber ISPs use ONTs, not modems.
Who is your ISP?
30 feet is kinda far for good signal connection and operation for a connected device. Especially if building materials are in between the router and your wifi device.

It says AX3600. There is nothing in the way. It is down a clear hallway in direct line. The laptop acts up with the "no internet connection" even 6 ft away from the router

What says that? A label on the thing?
It isn't the model number, That could be something like RAX41 or MR80.

Only other device is my phone. It seems to have problems if I leave the living room where the router is

What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
