No wifi range wifi 6
I have wifi but it is not stable. I have NO access to the modem because our company went to fiber and locked the modem in a box {no customer has access to the modems now as they say it is proprietary...

Finally I can reply to let yall know where I am. Got the tech to come here, tested everything, all was fine, I upped my net speeds, still no help at all. Last thing at this point is assume maybe my MSI is too old {3} and see about getting it replaced soon. Thank you guys for the help. Sorry I don't have better news.

If the internet LED is flickering WHITE then AMBER or RED, means the router is loosing it's internet services.
If you started experiencing all this after Fiber was put in and not prior with this same router, then I would presume this is a ISP issue that the ISP needs to look into. Might have the ISP send out a on site tech and have them take a look, show them what your seeing as well.
They need to check and let you know about the ONT, if it has a built in router or not. I presume it may not if they have it locked up some place at your home. Not having a router with in the ONT is preferred here since you have a RAX router online already.
Also have the tech check the CAT# of the LAN cable between the ONT and RAX router. CAT6 UTP is recommended here.

I called provider, they will send out a tech to go over everything. I am also going to up my service to 150 which should be double what I am getting now. I am so frustrated with this. If this fixes my issues I am going to be very upset with them. I will let you know how this goes after tech comes and I upgrade

Have them run speed tests with you and your PC connected to there ONT, then do same thing with the RAX online so they can see. Also check some web sites as well. Be sure all is working to your expectations before the tech leaves.
