NTP settings stay at 10+ hours and yet the time is wrong by 1 hour
Hi there, I have an RAX200 Router and since I purchased about 2 months ago the NTP time settings won't work properly.
We just changed back on October 2 1 hour but the Settings in the router are STILL 1 hour behind, HOW do I fix that? or do I have to change if to the wrong time zone to fix?

What address do you have set for NTP server?
Do you have adjust for daylight saving time enabled?

I am from Australia and it appears that the section marked for daylight saving doesn't function.
I am using the default NTP settings.- KitsapMaster

I am using the default NTP settings.I am going to bark at you a little bit. Would it have been too difficult for you to have provided exactly what the default settings were for a device purchased in your part of the world????
Most likely, due to limited information, the default settings track back to a time server in China.
A search of the web for NTP Australia reveals the pool server name that should provide you good service is au.pool.ntp.org.
When you say the daylight saving section does not function do you mean it does not show a check mark when enabled or do you mean it does not make any difference whether it is checked or not?
When you make a change to the daylight saving settings or pool server address, you will need to log out and power down the router (remove the power cord). Wait a few seconds then power it up and allow the boot process to complete. Then log in to the user interface and check the system time.
