Hello All! Has anyone tried or know if the Orbi Tri-band Mesh WiFi Outdoor Satellite RBS50Y can connect and extend a WiFi 6 network with a Nighthawk RAX 200 router and an EAX80 extender? If not,...
I can't attest to connecting it to the EAX80 but I connected my RBS50Y to my RAX200 with it in extender mode. It won't work in orbi mode.
Thank you for the reply but I have to ask what is the diference between extender and orbi mode?
Orbi mode it integrates with the orbi AC series.
Extender mode it acts as just a triband extender.

I see. As I understand correctly in the end both modes act to extend the existing WiFi network outdoors, which is what I really need. It is unfortunate, that the RBS50Y doesn't use WiFi 6... is there an outdoor extender to use the WiFi 6?
