Port Aggregation
I have a Netgear RAX70 router and a CM1100 modem. I would like to configure them to get the most of my 1200 mbps internet speed. I have tried the tutorials from Netgear support that totally confused. I have technical knowledge but all of this is new to me... If someone could give me the simple version, it will be so sincerely appreciated.

If the RAX70 supports WAN side LAG, then you would need to enabled the LAG featured ON the RAX router AND CM modem web pages.Connect two CAT6 cables between the RAX and CM modem.
Would review the User manual for each of these units.
That rax70 supports wan port aggregation.
Usually what you do is first get the RAX setup initially.
Then go into the cm1100 and enable the port aggregation feature.
You'll then want to enable it on the RAX.
Once both are enabled (and both have rebooted fully, then power them both off.
With both powered off, connect both ports on the cm1100 to the wan port on the rax and port 1 on the rax.
power the modem on. give it 2 minutes.
then power the router on.
It should connect and auto-negotiate a power aggregation setup on the wan side.
