Printer has stopped working

Hi, my PC (win 11, 15H2) can't be connected to my printer (Brother DCP-L2540DW) anymore. Both are connected to a Netgear RAX10. I can ping the router but not the printer through the router. I need so...

Have you tried

  1. restarting the printer?
  2. "forgetting" the wifi connection on the printer and reconnecting it?  (assuming the printer is connected with wifi)
  3. removing the printer from the PC and reinstalling the full download software package, and adding the printer back?
