Printer has stopped working
Hi, my PC (win 11, 15H2) can't be connected to my printer (Brother DCP-L2540DW) anymore. Both are connected to a Netgear RAX10. I can ping the router but not the printer through the router. I need so...

Shows up on RAX10 attached devices.
If the problem was the two PCs not being able to print, I would delete the printer using the Windows Control Panel and reinstall it on Windows. Using ICMP (ping) is a common diagnostic step.
When the printer claims to have a valid IP address (which matches the IP shown in Attached Devices) but does not respond when pinged, something is seriously wrong.
It might be useful to confirm that the Windows PCs are translating the IP address to the correct Ethernet hardware MAC address by looking at the ARP table
(i.e. command arp -a)

Unless the PC has classified the network as public. In which case it is expected behavior.

Windows Firewall default is to not accept ICMP requests. Since the PC can ping the router, it seems reasonable that it could also ping any device in the same IP subnet as the router.
