How long is the new password your using?
Any Special characters in the password? Try a simple basic password. No special characters.

FURRYe38, further update on ReadySHARE, after ranting about ReadySHARE possibly not accepting a complex admin password that did work for logging in to the router as admin I experimented with changing the admin pw to 10 characters, LC, UC & numbers but NO complex characters. This resolved the issue and I can now successfully map a drive to ReadySHARE. Still disappointed that I had to truncate my original admin pw but I'll live with it. I think I saw mention in another string that ReadySHARE is being phased out by Netgear. If true that's disappointing as I don't want to layout the bucks for a NAS. Thanks for the fix!

RS is still in the new generation routers, RS series, so maybe still be hanging around.
I went NAS years ago. Have two now. Older units but works for my needs. Never looked back at anything else. Love NAS.
