PureVPN (PPTP and L2TP) not working on my RAX40v2

Hi,

My Netgear RAX40v2 is getting Internet via ethernet from a 4G modem.

I can see that my Netgear router have both PPTP and L2TP connection options.

PureVPN (PPTP and L2TP protocols) did not work on my RAX40v2, while they worked perfectly on my Archer C9 AC1900.

PureVPN support, after trying and inspecting my router options and seeing the Open VPN tab in the Advanced tab finally told me that they don't support these protocols on that router, saying that they only support Open VPN on that router (should I suspect their claim ?)

I then tried a free Racevpn (L2TP) on the Netgear and it worked instantly.

1) Is there anything I can do to get PureVPN work on the Netgear ?

2) If I use Open VPN on the Netgear, should I setup open VPN on each device in my home to get it to work ? how about my TV and Chromecast ?
