QoS on RAXE500 causes network dropouts
As the title said using a RAXE500 with QoS and downloading applications causes the network to that device drop out. this is using the latest firmware on windows 11 over ethernet with a 900mbps do...

Why are you using QoS?
As the title said using a RAXE500 with QoS and downloading applications causes the network to that device drop out.The speeds you quote – if they are what your ISP delivers – are well above the levels of around ~200 Mbps where QoS is useful.
If anything QoS could slow you down as the router's processors does its stuff.
QoS is for old services where you had to fight to get games to run fast enough.
Have your turned it off to see if the problem goes away?
Yeah that looks like it sorts the issue.
I assumed QoS was good to have on.
Its new to me but this seems to be the fix.

Ya I would not use QoS and mentioned, it's mostly for low speed ISP services. Which most todays ISP and users are using the most. Not a lot of need for QoS up here at this speeds.
You'll be fine running with out it.
If your ISP modem or ONT connects at 1000Mpbs, then keep the 1Gb WAN port running on the RAXE. No need to use the 2.5Gb port. You can connect up a PC to this port if you have a PC that you may have a 2.5Gb ethernet adapter installed. I have one installed on my PC. Connects to the 2.5Gb port on the RAXE. Works great.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
